I feel uneasy doing professional gigs with the best gear i can afford because there is always a risk that something crucial won't work. Only two mic inputs, however for Karoake shows I rarely need more than two mics and max I have is 3 if I have a lot of duetgroup sing alongs.Īnyone used this series of mixer or have any thoughts on the quality? Assuming this is a step up from the regular xenyx series? Also regarding the KLARK TEKNIK FX processor, anyone used that "brand" processor? Does it offer any advantages over the effects I'm using in the Mackie or A&H or is it just marketing hype? no XLR outs so would need a balanced 1/4" to XLR cable to run to the system, not a huge issue but more of a pain than anything. Ideally would want to put this on top of my rack with the laptop and use that as a table and double function, however I can't use the Mackie or A & H cause of their size (not enough room on top of the rack).Ĭons: 1. The reason for wanting this one: Smaller, built in compressor (for all those out of control Karaoke singers) USB and effects. I was taking a peek at this mixer, has all the things I need for a compact small mixer that would be used in substitution for either Macki Pro FX 8 or A & H Zed 10.
